Chios Island, Marketing Plan for the promotion and logistics of local agrofood products

The international competitive environment in the food sector has focused on mass production, with quantity being its dominant feature. It has thus left on the sidelines the most important parameter that should be integral in any product incorporated in the modern man's diet: quality.

KiNNO Consultants Ltd.as technical consultant of the Regional Administration of Chios – North Aegean Region, designed and developed a Marketing Plan for the local food products of Chios Island of Greece, regions of Crete as well as of Communities of the Troodos Region of Cyprus with the aim to strengthen the business of the regions.

More specifically, the aim of the Marketing Plan was to propose a set of actions in order to promote the unique local products of high quality and propose adistribution strategy for the effective transfer of the products from the local farmers to the final consumers in existing and emerging markets.

KiNNO has analysed the market trends and local business needs and used modern marketing, promotional and distribution tools and methods to design a robust Marketing Strategy for promoting and exporting local products.
