NEW PROJECT! ‘CoRINThos: Maritime Clusters supporting Research & Innovation to enhance Blue Economy Entrepreneurship’

KiNNO Consultants Ltd., has been awarded a new project targeting Blue Growth through the operation of clusters focusing on Research and Development activities in the Mediterranean Sea. Under the framework of this project, KiNNO and partners aim at defining R&D gaps as driving factors of maritime clusters identifying and contextualizing them through Blue economy sectors and geographical synergies at national and transnational level.

More specifically, KiNNO as expert of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Shipping of Seville, is involved in:

•   the definition of quantitative and qualitative indicators of maritime clusters
•   the Regional/ National mapping of existing and potential maritime clusters
•   the definition of qualitative and quantitative indicators of Triple Helix Matrix
•  the elaboration of Blue economy maps on sectors such as energy, shipping, transport, biotechnology and tourism
• the definition of Blue Economy Growth scenaria and the elaboration of Action Plans

The project is funded under the MED Programme, and more specifically under the framework of the targeted Maritime call.
